A Special Note From Kevin Henley....in his own words..........
When he took the stage, he shined just like the sun.
There are those who touch the lives of many, and do so in a positive way.
Richard Roddy was one of those people. He was a witty, fun loving song bird, and
we all wanted him to fly in our back yard.
He is one of the chosen few who had a mischievous enthusiasm that was a
Tabasco dash in your super taco of youth. He had a very bright smile.
To know him was to just love being around him. He inspired you. He was going to
make you laugh, laugh often, and laugh at yourself.
Living the memory to be, is better than the memory itself. Having the memory is
a reminder of living the good life.
Helping others is a great memory.
It is odd that one who loved to live chose not to.
The moral of the story is that he inspired a group of music lovers who can't
carry a tune, to get together to support those who can. Some can hum a few bars.
This living memory of our brother is brought to you by a community, a
stitch in rural
Texas, America. A part of the global village, helping keep
the music playing.
I will never be this lucky again. At least I was once. Life changing luck.
Ps. He absolutely loved children. He loved their innocence..
SUPPORT MUSIC AND MUSICIANS...especially if they jam in your back yard.
Really, I knew that you could.
Kevin
