Richard Roddy

Richard Roddy 11/22/55 - 10/26/02

This site is dedicated to the memory of our friend Richard Roddy. He was not only a great friend and a talented musician but was also an ambassador of music. Richard Roddy was a local, home-grown musician from Huffman, Texas who brought music and song to his home state, Colorado and New Mexico. Richard was a charitable soul who gave generously to those in need.

Richard's friends have established this website as well as the Richard Roddy Music Scholarship Fund, a nonprofit, 503c organization to support music scholarships for local high school students. These scholarships are offered to music students from Crosby and Huffman ISD.

We would like to thank everyone who has attended our past RRMSF benefit concerts. All the proceeds go to scholarships for deserving students. The 6th annual benefit concert will be held on April 16, 2011. Please come and celebrate with us, participate in the silent and regular auctions and hear some fantastic music.
