David was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in Huffman, Texas. David started writing songs a little over two years ago and is an active member in the Austin Song Writers Group.
David has quickly emerged as a singer songwriter with his own unique style of clever and just plain rib tickling lyrics. His sound is gritty with a Texas country flare. However, he will surprise you with a love song on occasion as well, inspired by his lovely wife Tracy.
After winning various songwriting contests, he has now played his music in world famous venues, such as the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, TN and Threadgills World Headquarters in Austin, Texas.
David's influences include Willis Alan Ramsey, Rusty Wier, Ray Hubbard, ZZ Top and Marshall Tucker.
